what whould be a good graphics card for my desk top?

its 300w ,amd athlon 64 processor 3800+ 2.39 GHz, 2gig ram

    Unless the X2 takes the same socket, you're out of luck. You can't really go higher on a single core Athlon 64

    If you don't want to upgrade your PSU, go with the ATI Radeon HD 4670
