One of my favorite MCs of all time and I'm glad I caught this Q. Nas is nice, but Tragedy has been around longer than Nas. He has a better delivery, and his albums have been more consistent too. Plus he doesn't need to make pop singles in an attempt to sell more records, so I have more respect for him than I do for Nas. I also think he's more honest, and has better messages. The one thing I always found interesting is the fact that they never collaborate with each other even though they're from the same hood.

The Death of Tragedy

I also say the documentary that was made about his life "Tragedy" "The Story of Queensbridge". It was interesting and I doubt very much if much was held back. He is now in prision, he got four year for selling narcotics but is due to be released in 2011. He was once part of the Juice Crew in his very early days before he became a Muslim.
