iPod touch version 3 update..?

Most likely you are going to get it pre-installed. That's the latest version so it is reasonable to have the product with the latest software.

So yes, you SHOULD get it pre-installed. Unless it's one of those iTouches that are still from the factory before the arrival of the 3.0 iPod Touch software came out.

If for whatever reason you don't get it pre-installed shame on Apple. Call them up and complain. Or take it to an Apple store with receipt (email or print out) and show them that you bought it after it was released and you should have it on there. They are a nice company, they should update it for you or give you a gift card to update it for free.

hmm. i dont understand, using fact mines no longer jailbroken. and "rawr" is in fool. there are 4 genreations, third gen grow to be released in overdue 2009. 2d gen in overdue 2008. 4th gen around September, 2010. there's a third gen ipod, fool. yet asker, im sorry. i dont understand on the grounds that i dont have my 4th gen jailbroken. I only observed the 1st remark and had to the final option that moron.
