FYI MY FIANCE HAS HIS TONGUE PIERCED BUT HES NO HELP, AND IVE HAD MY NOSE PIERCED SINCE OCTOBER AND I WEAR A CLEAR NOSE RING TO WORK NOBODY CAN EVEN TELL, WANT TO KNOW OF AFTER MY 6 DAY VACATION WEN I GO BACK TO WORK I CAN PICK UP WHERE I LEFT OFF MINUS THE EATTING PART

ok well i have mine done and i had no infection or anything and my swelling lasted for a week i talked with a lisp for that whole week and could hardly eat anything except soup and also they didnt put any longer of a barbell in mine but when the swelling goes down the barbell is pretty long and make sure u keep it clean rinse your mouth with mouth wash after everything u eat and drink and dont eat anything spicy or salty cause it will sting! hope i helped! =]

It only took 3 days for my girlfriends swelling to go down after she got hers, and hell yea you should get one, im sure your fiance would love it lol. and im not sure about the clear one's but they should have, i mean you would think that is a common thing people ask for

probably not, ur tongue piercing will freakin' mess up ur teeth and it will REALLY hurt cause ur tongue is basically all nerves...
