Question about Animal Crossing: City Folk for Wii?
I've heard that if you go on Animal Crossing: City Folk for Wii and send an animal in your town a letter with fruit in it saying, "Please send fruit" in the letter, they'll send you a different kind of fruit.
Has anyone tried this and does it work?

thats how i got all my fruit. i got everything but oranges. im playing now you can come to my town or and take some.
oh and u have to sed them a fruit with your letter

I've tried it and it doesn't work 99% of the time.
The message in the letter makes no difference.
The best way to get different fruit is to visit other towns on wi-fi or have other people visit your town and give you some of their fruit.
Coconuts will occasionally wash up on the beach.
There is a very small chance you'll get a fruit back at all, especially a different kind.
