yahoo message told me another computer was starting mine. right after cable man installed new splitters. Huh?
All that happened was he changed 3 splitters and upon going to my e mail a yahoo message said another computer was turning mine on. I don't want that. Is this ok or what?

Maybe you went to different computer to look at your email and never logged off from that computer. So when the other computer is turned on, you are logged on this computer and that computer also.
Maybe cable man got hold of your yahoo password that was written on the desk????.....
Change your yahoo password. This will solve it. So the other computer(or cable man) can not log on because you changed password.

Something like what you are describing sounds like a faulse positive. If your computer is already started?
Check your Network Connections and see who is running a line on your connections. But don't disable anything without knowing it is harmful or so abviously an invasion to your privacy. Again, this was from Messanger and could be a joke. Did it only happen this one time? Good luck.
