I personally think you need to convert swf to avi, and then merge the converted avi and avi you have with windows movie maker.
To convert swf to avi, you may use moyea swf to video converter pro, which can convert swf to video in common formats, including avi and avi with alpha channel, and keep the original effects.

FLV player will play .swf files, and just about any player will play most .avi files. My favorite media players are vlc media player and gom
