These birds are fledglings, and are suppose to be on the ground.
Their parents are still caring for them, and they're preparing for flight. I would suggest placing these birds in a near-by safe place in your barn, so the baby bird won't be visable to predators. Don't worry about your scent being on the bird, since 99.9% of birds have a very poor sense of smell so the parents won't detect your smell on their young.
Don't feed or take this bird in. It's illegal to take care of a wild bird, and keep it in your possession. You can get fined of jailed if you do this. So the best thing for you to do is just move the bird to a safe place, then leave it alone.

If the bird is fully feathered, it is most likely a fledgling and has left the nest on it's own and it's parents are caring for it. It is normal for birds to leave the nest before they can fly. You need to replace it where you found it..preferably in a scrub or tree so it is relatively safe from predators, and the parents should come back to feed it. If it is unfeathered...then look for a nest and if you can find it...replace it into the nest. Do not worry about your scent being on the chick..birds have a very poorly developed sense of smell and will NOT reject a baby that has been touched. If you cannot find a nest, get the bird to a local wildlife rehab for it's best chance of survival. Also, keep in mind, it is illegal for you to try and raise this bird on your own. Look for a rehab here:

When I found a baby robin in the middle of the road I took it to a conservation area, where they told me it's illegal to have a wild animal in your possession. Depending on the laws in your state (this is for OH). Search for a conservation area closest to you and call them and ask them for advice.
In the meantime leave the birds where they are, just watch them from a distance to see if parents come to them and feed them. If they don't come at all during the day then take them to the conservation area and they will take them in and rehabilitate them.
To correct the person above, songbirds are VERY good parents and a humans scent will not deter them from continuing to care for their young. These facts came from the conservation area I took a baby robin to.

Leave them exactly where you found them and do not keep going back to check on them. Their parents have NOT abandoned them. The parent birds will keep on coming back and feeding them - IF you leave the babies alone and stay the hell away!

You need to call your local animal shelter, I tried to save a baby bird once, but all the things we tried to feed it and water it didn't work, it eventually died. I cried for hours. At the animal shelter they can hook it up and give it nutrients that way, but if you want to try and keep the birdies, try taking them to a vet and see what the vet says.

First you need to just check if there hert without touching them. Then you need 2 give them water. If you have chickens give them chicken food. leave them alone for a couple of days.
Oh and about the water, give it to them in a bowl or something like that.

You should have just left them there. !they are fledgelings! they are learning to fly! you dont need to touch them. If you try to put them back, There mother probably wont come back to them beacuse she ccan smell you scent on them!
