How much doest it cost to file for a divorce in Florida or Arizona?
Even though we won't need a lawyer (we have no children and no assets) I'm thinking there are some sort of filing fees? Husband is in FL, I am in AZ, do we need to be in the same state to be able to do it?
Please I need to know, if not specific then a ball park figure (but only for the states mentioned). Thanks!

I live in central Florida..I went to the courthouse and filed my divorce..that was 12 years ago..I paid 25.00 for a huge package of papers..several had to be notorized..after all was done and I brought them back to the clerk of the courts..I paid 250.00,,I was given a court date..and it was done...I really don't think you have to be in the same state if no assets or children involved..Good Luck...
