Finding a phone number....?

I'm not sure WHAT catagory to put this in..but here goes:

I'm trying to find a phone number by going on-line. I've tried "white pages", "infobel", "teldir", etc. I would think it would be easy, but NO. I even put my own name and address in and all I get is my name and address back and then they all want money for the rest....

Does anyone have a web site to find phone numbers????
