I am trying to work on a dessert menu for an asian restaurant and besides green tea ice cream and things riddled with ginger, im kind of lost on a good asian inspired dessert.

fried bananas with some sort of coating batter, vietnamese jelly drink (chea), cocktail buns (usually served during breakfast but still a sweet treat), crepes can turn out very fancy. Hope this helps!

Thai: fried banana w/ scoop of ginger or green tea ice cream (one of the best desserts I've ever had)
I can't think of anything that hasn't already been mentioned..
Hope you find something useful from all the answers.

mango mousse
lychee sorbet
read bean ice cream
rice pudding with fresh fruit (guava or mango)
fruit salad
coconut cookies with ice cream
i know these seem kind of dull, but there really isn't much as far as asian deserts go. trust me, i'm asian. in reality, asian people eat fruit for dessert.
have you tried visiting an authentic asian bakery? there are some nice jellies and cakes that you can find recipes for online. try them and see what it is that YOU want to serve!

Asian fruit flavored ice cream? Unusual types of ice cream tend to be interesting (in a good way) especially fruity ones.

I would like to also add flan (custard). It's very easy to make and yummy!
