5 d-backs, the Defensive Halfback?
I realize that a DHB in the Canadian game is a defensive back. There are two CB's, two DHB's, and a Free Safety. How do the DHB's fit into the scheme? Is the position similar to a Strong Safety? Thanks.

Halfbacks are more or less cornerbacks that play closer to the middle of the field and sometimes further back toward the safety. Most cornerbacks can switch to halfback without any trouble and vice versa.

Ok if your 40 times are right then you are too slow to play either. How do you not know either? 4 tenths of a second is a big spread. Many offensive lineman can run in the low 5s. If you played fullback you would never get the ball and be used only for blocking. And defensive end you wouldnt play because you dont have the speed to get around the edge. An interior lineman position is your best bet. At 228 your not small and your speed wouldnt be an issue.

Yeah, the halfback is similar to a corner. Since there are more receivers (ie slotbacks) running routes, the defence has more guys covering them.
