I consider myself an avid CFL fan but honestly I just heard that they were redoing BC Place after the Olympics.

I realize that a DHB in the Canadian game is a defensive back. There are two CB's, two DHB's, and a Free Safety. How do the DHB's fit into the scheme? Is the position similar to a Strong Safety? Thanks.

I saw it on You Tube and wondering if it was real.

I picked Montreal last year. I'm thinking Edmonton.

Okay. I am 32 and almost 33. I am playing my first season in senior rugby as a lock. I have no problem with the various aches and pains of the game during the match (stud in the shin, bruised shoulders from pushing in the scrum, and getting hit high in the ruck (I'm 6'5" and everyone else is much smaller than me). After the match my whole upper body hurts and my elbows feel numb. It is not a big deal because I take an advil and the pain goes away after about 20 minutes. I'm just wondering if anyone knows a source of the pain or if this happens to anyone else.

I am new to rugby and am just learning the game. I play for a lower level men's club in the USA. The team is very good, but it's mission is to welcome all players of all skill levels.

I played in a match yesterday and did okay. I am good at the lifts on line outs, I made a good catch and return on a kick off, and I am alright in the scrum (I play lock and am 6' 5" and 270 lbs and not the most flexible person out there) I have power, but my prop said I was lifting him too much.

Anyway, I was not getting into rucks that were about 15 meters away from me fast enough and the scrum half would not shut up about it. Apparently this guy yells and yells. Shouldn't he be taking his agression out on the other team? What do other people think?

The proposed changes I remember are 1. making teams kick from further back after a safety 2. 3 challenges per game if the first two are successful 3. kick off always after a field goal 4. allowing direct snap to running back (wildcat)

I know this is lame but I need some advice. I am new to rugby as an adult player and before I join a team I want to give the coach an idea of what position I might be able to play.

I am 6'5" and weigh 270 lbs. I have played soccer goalkeeper for the last few years. When I was younger I played Tight End in American Football (both pass catcher and offensive line blocker).

Most rugby fans wonder why American football players wear pads and that it is a lesser sport because of pads. As someone who has played I say that if one didn't wear pads in American football that person would die. So...in rugby what are the most common injuries? Knees? Concussions? I couldn't imagine taking a knee to the bear head. Ouch!

Predictions for the season. Are the Soul going to repeat? Any gaps left by the end of the Voodoo?
