What are some places with truly free Wi-Fi?
What are some commercial places like restaurants or something with truly free Wi-Fi? I'm asking in general, such as Starbucks or something.
I mean free as in no attachments. I can go in, sit down and log on. No memberships, credit card numbers, or anything. Just log on and do whatever for a little while.

Hey the public library is free. Or just key WiFi hotspots into your search engine

Off the top of my head: Wendy's, Panera Bread, Starbucks and your local public library. Maybe even Barnes-n-Nobles and Books-A-Million.
Beware of places like McDonald's that say just 'WiFi Here'. They charge for it. Unless it specifically says free, it's usually just a gimmick.
Paying for WiFi time is one of the biggest rip offs known to mankind.
