Why don't people use Wikipedia instead of coming here?

Honestly, some of these questions are much easier answered elsewhere.

Its got to be laziness, there are a lot of homework/project questions on here and its easier to ask a question then to look themselves. When they get the answer they want its already written out nicely for them they only have to copy and paste and their homework/project is done.

If no one asked any questions then there would not be any to answer, then what would we do for 2 points.

Wikipedia is editable by anyone. Of course, major, immature edits will be changed, but minor information can be changed by immature people. This is why most teachers do not accept Wikipedia. People would like info from somewhere else...

but youre right, a lot of these answers are easily googled. But without easy questions, where would we get our easy answer points?;)

Because Wikipedia doesn't answer your questions. Wikipedia is to do research or just read about something interesting. It doesn't necessarily answer things you don't understand.

I know! Like the questions about "what is the meaning of this word?" or something. That is so stupid! Look at dictionary.com. Hi Amanda!
