How do I get rid of pain in braces from rubber bands?

I had my jaw replaced last year, and my mouth isn't completely aligned yet. My orthodontist put on rubber bands on my braces, and they hurt so bad, I can't take it. The only relief is when I take them out to sleep or eat. Please help me.

Take a IB profein, or some other type of pain reliever. If confused speak to ortho.

take some tylenol or advil... WEAR THEM i know it hurts a lot... :/ but in a couple of days you wont even realize they're there. if you don't wear them constantly then you'll never get used to them and thats just gonna make things worse
