going to allow all these garbage spammers to continue on these sites?

    They actually do the opposite: They try to stop it.

    The only reason people think that they letting them do it is because there are so many spammers out there that they cannot stop them all at once.

    So, Yahoo!'s solution?

    Have the users report answers and questions violating the Guidlines or ToS.

    Good question - they are completely inappropriate - and some of these spam posts are just ridiculously long too!

    i say just ignore it. there is only so much they can do about it and they are trying to keep up maintenance on it, other than that just ignore it and enjoy the site (:
