Devil May Cry-Should I just skip the cutscenes?

The crazy hard one is DMC 3 that is when in japan they made their hard for our normal in the US version. And DMC3 is the prequel to DMC1 then it is DMC4 then DMC2. No you shouldn't skip since the cutscenes are cool and fun to watch.

You shouldn't worry about the story too much, aside from some background information it wouldn't really help out that much since the sequels aren't connected (especially 2, even the developers try to ignore that game).

The crazy hard one is probably Devil May Cry 3. Haha that's funny, you thought 2 was the hard one. It's actually the easiest one, and that's one of the reasons why it's looked down upon by everyone (you can just about go by and shoot everything).

You can watch DMC4 cut scenes anytime you want so if you want to stick with the story I guess you can come back to them. If I were you I woulden't because the cutscene is like your reward for completing your mission and finding out what happens next. That's just me anyhow, I cannot resist them.

Don't bother skipping them, 4's got an engaging plotline even if you're unaware of some of it's context.

Great series, and yes, DMC3 was the absolutely brutally hard one - I honestly didn't like 2, if I had to choose one to skip, that would be the one.

Watch cutsence it make u like dante more. And the hardest to me was none but occuring to my friend DMC3 is extreme hard wasn't for me but that should be it DMC1 is cool but DMC2 will disappoint u i had to endure it.

watch the cutscenes. they're there for story. if you want to play the game in canon order, go in this order: 3,1,anime,4,2. the crazy hard one was 3 due to US normal being japan hard

i know part 3 was supposed to be hard...but i wasent to me it was fun and slightly difficlult but easy to kick *** and win.....part 1 though i thought was much harder..probabaly due to the lack of abilities compared to part 2 and 3..after all it is the oldest one...still love them all ;) cant wait for part 5
