What shoes for job interview?
I will be wearing a black pencil skirt, cream cami with lace detail, black fitted suit jacket with small cream pinstripe. The interview is for a sales management position. I live in South Carolina so it is full swing summer here. Is an open toed shoe ok? Do I still wear pantyhose if I do wear an open toed shoe? Should I stick with a black shoe? I am feeling like it is too much black and maybe I should go with silver or something like that to make it a little more special. Would another color work better? I will be interviewing with a man if that makes a difference. Please help. I have never had a job that required professional business attire and I want to make a good first impression.
If this helps I was sent an e-mail to confirm my interview, give directions etc. and it suggested a suit and tie for men but did not give suggestions for women. I feel like it needs to be quite formal and professional.

Here's my opinion as a hiring manager...better to be over dressed then under dressed. Yes, wear panty hose..can be nude. Don't wear open toed black shoes. Closed toed shoes are more professional. Obviously, if you get the job, the dress code may be more casual, but its always better to be safe than sorry.
