It would have to be Notorious B.I.G (Biggie Smalls). He revolutionized the pattern and wordplay of the lyrics in rap songs. All of his songs had a story, and if you listen to his songs, they all make sense. He also is an underdog story. And if you have seen the movie "Notorious", you will understand what i mean. He truely is THE KING OF RAP. TUPAC DID NUFIN BUT BE A LIL ***** AND WHINE AND GET BIGGIE KILLED. HIS RAPS ARE OVER-RATED

that's a competent question.i assume it purely hasn't been desperate yet thinking there are countless rappers as a results of acceptance of rap music.Now this could be a rumor yet from what i've got heard Kanye West is the King of Rap.

Biggie is probobly but in the future it will be Lupe Fiasco just a hunch lol
