computer question for a dummy!?

say i buy a computer, and it comes with Windows Vista 9...does that come with microsoft office. like windows, excel, powerpoint... all of that? im a student and that is really important to me... thanks so much!

Im so computer illiterate!

    No, but unless it specifically says it is packaged with that computer. Normally you have to buy it separately.

    An operating system like Vista doesn't come with Office usually, but sometimes when buying through a college computer store (example), you can get Office bundled with a new computer.

    well, im not sure it's according 2 the offer u found...if it's original then u have 2 get ms office by urself...

    btw...vista got a lot of deficits so i suggest XP or the new win 7

    If it doesn't come loaded on your new puter, go to: OpenOffice.org. You can download their office suite, which is almost identical to MS Office, for absolutely FREE!

    You can also search for OpenOffice at download.com or cnet.com.

    Most will come w/ it...but of course its only a trial...eventually you will need a key to continue to use it....just Microsofts little way of teasing you....

    you have to ask the sales person or call the place. They like to hide those things from you and unless you ask them directly they will never tell you.
