Whats with all the sirens?
Yesterday I was almost hit by an ambulance and I was off the road. Then further down the road he turns the siren off and continues driving down the road at a very slow pace.I also used to commute up to the hills and almost every evening driving home some idiot in a fire truck would drive down the hill with the siren screaming at a certain point turn them off and turn around. Is home land security spending our money trying to terrorize us.
Funny thing is a fire truck doesnt go over the speed limit so I followed a few to their destination which was just an area in the road wide enough to turn around.

I doubt that ambulances and fire trucks are part of some Homeland Security plot to terrorize residents. More likely the emergency services vehicles were responding to a call and then were advised their assistance wasn't needed any longer.

I checked the Homeland Security terrorization queue website and you're right!! It just so happens that Homeland Security has initialized that specific fire department to watch for you going by, then they race after you with their lights flashing and sirens blaring just to terrorize YOU! No one else. Then, they are instructed to go reeaalll slow after going by you. Seems like it worked, as you appear to be very terrorized. So, I guess the short answer is "Yes, Homeland Security IS spending our money trying to terrorize us." And it's working.
