Murray and desperate England....?
Ok, I am so sick of hearing hos long england has waited to crown a champion. First, Murray is NOT a true Brit. Hes from Scotland, but being they are so desperate for a champ, adopted him. The country isnt actually big on sports/athletes, and perhaps need to do something about it instead of adopting athletes from nearby countries. Cricket, polo, just dont cut it enough, and if they want to produce tennis stars, and other major sports, then get out there and learn, perform. Even Sudeski ( Greg) was from Canada, but they took him into their hearts in hope.Thoughts?

Britain and tennis have a very strange affair. Once Wimbledon comes round they absolutely love it. Then once it finishes thats it for another 50 weeks.
In my view, tennis just struggles to compete with other sport in Britain like football, cricket and rugby. Furthermore there team sports reducing the chance of British players in single sports like tennis or golf.
And btw I'm English but I have heritage from Ireland, Scotland and Wales, so I consider myself more British than English.

england and scotland are both represented as great britain in sports such as tennis and the olympics. try and understand this and then u wont be sick of hearing it.

yeah as the other guy said, it isnt england its great britain you complete douche. Its just like you saying a texan isnt a true american because he isnt from calafornia....
