Volkswagen's trouble?

I have got a Volkswagen golf from 2002 (02 reg) 1.6 5 doors and for the past few months there is something underneath which keep detaching itself ( it looks like a tray ) and I don't know what to do .shall I remove it completely ?

    Sounds like its just the lower engine cover that has come adrift! Its no big deal as all its there for is to keep the engine clean. My advice would be to remove it as its better if its taken of rather than falling off when you are driving.

  • its just an under tray to keep the engine bay a bit cleaner. mine fell off my passat so throw it away, and thay will charge you to remove and replace it when its being serviced ,its just a bit of pain in the a**s plastic.
