Foods, Inc..the Movie, What did you think?

Saw this last night here in Houston.

My thoughts: 1) Scary 2) SAD 3) Enlightening

I knew some of what was in the movie but it still had some educational things for me.

Update:

PADDY: It is a bit graphic.

What I took away from the "whole". Is big business does not care about our health just their bottom line $$$. They knowingly have unhealthy practices & animal abuses. WHEN this huge THING they built falls the USA food supply will be in a dangerous & maybe fatal position. Notice I say WHEN not IF. Certainly made me wish to buy from local producers, farmers etc, & Organic when I can find it. I plan on eliminating all the big industry foods as I can from my family's diet.

I saw it in Houston as well.

    It was 'ok'.

I found a link to a trailer for the movie for those that would like to get a thought about the approach it takes and what it is about.

I really want to see this but my friend said it is quite graphic. I am sorry i am not answering your question but i am interested to hear if you thought it was. I turned vegetarian last year after i read the book "Skinny *****".

What was the most interesting thing you took away form it?

It's not playing where I live but I am very impatient to see it. I have read a lot of Pollan's book "Omnivore's Dilemma" and I've watched "The Future of Food" on Hulu a couple of times.

This is one of the most important issues of our time.
