Yes it is.
This is what Jehovah has said, your Repurchaser, the Holy One of Israel: “I, Jehovah, am your God, the One teaching you to benefit [yourself], the One causing you to tread in the way in which you should walk. 18 O if only you would actually pay attention to my commandments! Then your peace would become just like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.
Isaiah 48:17,18.
All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work.
2 Timothy 3:16,17.

All the things that were written aforetime were written for our instruction.—Rom. 15:4.
Because the Bible is inspired of God, it is “beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight.” (2Â Timothy 3:16) Yes, the Bible is a practical book. It reflects a keen understanding of human nature. No wonder, for its Author, Jehovah God, is the Creator! He understands our thinking and emotions better than we do. Furthermore, Jehovah knows what we need in order to be happy. He also knows what pathways we should avoid.
Consider Jesus’ speech called the Sermon on the Mount, recorded in Matthew chapters 5 to 7. In this masterpiece of teaching, Jesus spoke on a number of topics, including the way to find true happiness, how to settle disputes, how to pray, and how to have the proper view of material things. Jesus’ words are just as powerful and practical today as they were when he spoke them.
Some Bible principles deal with family life, work habits, and relationships with others. The Bible’s principles apply to all people, and its counsel is always beneficial. The wisdom found in the Bible is summarized by God’s words through the prophet Isaiah: “I, Jehovah, am your God, the One teaching you to benefit yourself.”—Isaiah 48:17.

It is the most practical book there is. It is the only book from our Creator and reflects His wisdom. Following God's ways brings the greatest blessings now and the hope of everlasting life in the near future.
I have found this scripture ALWAYS proves to be true.
(Isaiah 48:17-18) . . .: “I, Jehovah, am your God, the One teaching you to benefit [yourself], the One causing you to tread in the way in which you should walk.  O if only you would actually pay attention to my commandments! Then your peace would become just like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea."

Especially now is it pertinent, when all human ruler ships will be made extinct. When all those that have been given a chance to live by Jehovah's righteous rule and refused will be done away with.
When God will give all authority to Jesus to fight the war of Armageddon using every force in his power to grab Satan and his demons and finally abyss them.
the world as we know it will end...and peace and security will be the norm....
The great tribulation will be a terrifying ordeal to live through but that is what Jehovah promises that we will survive the GT and as the Israelites walked into the promised land , we will walk into paradise....
The elders will be like princes in the land guiding us to obey Jehovah.

Of course! If slavery, stoning rebellious teens and homosexuals to death, and animal sacrifice is practical today. Christians simply pick and choose what to follow from the bible. That, or they or simply ignorant of they're own religion. I like to call them cultural Christians, because there is surely not one who follows the Bible exactly. Why? Because overall, they are more moral then their God or most people in the bible.

The life lessons, wisdom, rules of fair trade and commerce, and guide- lines for personal relationships, within the Bible are simply timeless.

It is outdated. God needs to get down here and update it soon, as more and more people are becoming atheists as they realize that the Bible is wrong in both science and morals with what we know today is true.

Absolutely. It is as practical and relevant today as it has always been.
