Wicked angel

I think it's taken as a compliment because whenever an Angel manifests in a corporal body, they are known as being beautiful and basically perfect. Also, even though they may not have flesh and bones, they do have an appearance and you can see them. So they do have an appearance to them. Now the other question is, how do we know or why do we think they do not have flesh and blood? Biblical speaking, whenever angels came to speak to people, they had bodies. In visions and dreams they are spoken of as having wings and fly and have bodies. When Jesus was resurrected, he was flesh and bones. He walked, drink and ate with the disciples, he even let Thomas touch his hands. He went up into heaven with the same body that he rose in. Later, the apostle Stephen, when he was being killed, looked up to heaven and saw Jesus in heaven and he saw him in the same appearance that he was while on earth. Furthermore, heaven is described as a city with walls and streets, houses, rooms, thrones, people, angels, and God. All of these are physical things. We are spoken of as being risen with perfect physical bodies. A lot of people have this misconception that heaven is a cloudy, spirits floating in space, idea. I don't think that's really what scripture says about heaven or angels.
