L.S.Lowry painting of "24 steps" Middleton Manchester?
after years of searching i finally found the answer to something thats been bugging me for 50 years , that is did L.S.Lowry the salford artist ever paint a picture of the "24 steps" in MIddleton Manchester , because i was sure we were shown this painting at school at that time in 1960.
I now have found proof that he did so i can puzzle no more.

Hi! According to this article about
saving "Lowry's Steps," he painted
two of them. The first was entitled
'The Twenty-Four Steps', the second
was named 'Old Church and Steps.'
