Inflatable pool question?
I just bought a pool for my kids. After a day or two, the bottom gets slick with algae. Can I add chlorine bleach to inhibit this, and if so, how much per gallon of water?
It's a pain in the neck to empty and clean every day.

It is a pain....but in these types of pools....you have to empty it and refill every two-three days at the MOST. My sons gets like this, and between switching water, I clean the bottom with a non-abrasive cleaner. Dish soap or lysol wipes work well. I dont think its a good idea to have that water in there for more than 2 -3 days because it starts to harvest bacteria, algae, etc.....things that could make your kiddies sick. ;(

Your best bet is to go to Wal-Mart or another store and pick up a bucket of "shock" it is powdered chlorine and works better than liquid chlorine bleach, it is in the pool chemical aisle.
