Duh.

They had to know something was not right and if they did not know it was because the did not want to. The family and even most of the victims will still be better of than ordinary Americans, and if their life is ruined what does it say about the rest of us.

I don't think we can know. If I had to guess I would say no, but I certainly wouldn't want to condemn them on assumption. Anyone who does is just playing in stereotypes.

OFCOURSE THEY KNEW! You know how these upper east side families are....try to keep everything under wraps and private for as long as they can...and hope to take it to the grave.
