Retracting emails? Does anyone know if someone using hot-mail can retract an email they sent to someone else?
Someone sent an email to myself and 2 other people. They got the emails and I didn't. I checked by trash to see I had deleted it on accident. One of the other recipients forwarded the mail to me and my name was definitely included as a recipient as well. Is it possible that the sender could have retracted the email JUST from me? (hope this makes sense!)
Oops mistake! It was a gmail account that it was sent from, not hotmail.
thank you for responding Brandon, but do you know it would have been possible for the sender to intentionally retract the mail sent to me?,
Strike two! Thanks Lonestar, but this person is definitely NOT blocked ! I did check to make sure jsut in case.

No-----they can't "retract" it.
The reason you didn't get the email----the senders address has probably been (accidentally I'm sure) blocked----soooooo, check your blocked list, and unblock them.
If you're using Yahoo ???
Mail page>>options>>mail options>>block addresses (located under the Spam option on the left).
IF you find that address on the blocked list--click on it--click "remove block".
If you're using something else---just find the blocked list (everyone has one) and unblock that person's address.

It might of been an error when being sent. That has happened to me a few times.
