warriors trade for bosh instead?

anyone else think we should trade for bosh instead? i mean bosh is basically amare but less flashy and he has better d. and i think that they wont be stupid enough to reject the talented package of biedrins bellineli and wright, hell maybe we wont have to even through in biedrins

Update:

well i mean its the same logic for amare as well, i mean we're basically giving bierdrins, wright and belinelli for a rental

You're right, Bosh would fit perfectly well with the Warriors, but I still think Stoudamire would fit the team better. Don't get me wrong, Bosh is a better player in every way, it's just that their styles are different. Stoudamire is a mediocre defender (he excels as weak-side shot blocker), but he's perfect for a team that runs and gets quick points in transition. Bosh is a superior defender and has more post moves, but I personally feel that he is most dangerous in a half court set that allows him to utilize all his skills in the post.

However, the main reason that your suggested trade will not happen is that Bosh will become a free agent after next season. The Warriors will, basically, trade valuable assets for a rented player. Bosh will not sign an extension before his contract is up, since he wants to be one of the coveted free agent stars of 2010 (along with Wade, LeBron, etc.).

So think of it this way: Would you trade Biedrins, Bellineli, and Wright for Bosh to play on your team for one season only?

if we had a choice, bosh should be the man we choose. bosh has had no major injuries whereas amare has had surgery on both knees (this is bad because he is a big man but worse considering how the warriors run so much)

even though amare has better fg% and ft%, bosh is slightly better at everything else and quite a bit better at rebounding.

i like bosh's jumper much better and highly doubt bosh is near his peak. at the end of the day bosh is a couple years younger, injury-less and will likely score more in a system that will get him more transition dunks. the only problem is, like you said, who would our center be?

also if we get bosh we would have to give more. i believe they wanted ellis and andris when we were talking. if anything happens hopefully we can get rid of maggette in the deal.

play the anthony's!!! (and polish marco already, he has dimes)

this is better for my Warriors.Amare will ask for TOO much money plus he isnt 100% from all of those injuries and surgeries and i know he wil be injured this year like how every Warrior was last year. Bosh isnt as flashy and gets it done every night. Amare is stronger and more powerfull but Bosh will fit better in the Nelson system because he is a little quicker

Bosh and Randolph together=WOW because they play exactly the same

I really like the idea. Since the Raptors love the international flair; maybe they would want to add up Biedrins and Belinelli in their roster? Afterall, these two are nice promising players and the fact that Bosh may not stay there for good.

Amare fits their style of play better because suns are kind of like the way the warriors play. but i would rather have bosh than amare too because hes young and talented and has more potential.

if the warriors do trade for bosh it better be a sign and trade or what's to say he wont be one-and-done in the bay area? i'd take bosh over amare any day of the week. not only is his defense better (as you said) but also his rebounding

I agree that Bosh would be a much better player. Given that he does not have any serious knee injures like Amare and he is a bit younger.

I do, plus he was in the olympics so why not add another big man. Im only 13 but I know the warriors haven't really got any good players, well Stephen Jackson is maybe their best player but even when they got Al Harrington they still could not make a run at the playoffs so I do think they should add another piece to their young roster with Bosh.

  • I'd perfer Amare. He is slightly better at everything than bosh, weighs about 15 pounds more, and although worse at defense, is more of a presence.

i'd love to get bosh but without giving away AB because then who would be the center? That would be a great squad for the future

    Biedrins

    Bosh

    Randolph

    Ellis

    Curry

Warriors are gonna come out and play in 2010.
