Warranty on I pod Touch?

I HAD an ipod touch before I lost it in a restuarant back in April! I had an WalMart Warranty on it and I was wondering if that covers lost or theft? Also, My birthday is is 5 days and I was asking for a new one and wondering if I could get some discount or something from loosing the other one or something! Thankss!

    warranty's only cover damage. not losing it. sry

    the warranty doesn't cover that kind of loss.
