Can anyone recommend a good cell phone spyware?

I no it's not legal to do this but I just want to monitor my teenagers' conversation and text since she has been mixing with the wrong crowd lately.

    I can remember the names of the software but I know the good ones are expensive. It may be cheaper to just take the phone away.
