Detroit city council elections?

I have to agree with you as far as you criticizing the way council people are chosen. I also believe that it should be done by districts. Maybe there should a certain amount of people from each geographical part of Detroit running so that way each area of Detroit has some representation in the council. However I do believe there are some good people running this time around. I just hope the voters have the since not to elect Coyers as one of the council people this time around.

Many cities are massive "loose-selection" prisons. The inhabitants are too dumb to understand they are actual inmates. what's on the menu (interior the mouse-capture)?... gobment cheese. go searching. See the "tagging", the "partitions & fences" and "concertina cord". The "bars". look generally used? they are to no longer save the undesirable out as you will possibly mistakenly convince your self to have faith, now are they? bypass to L A sometime. no longer Belair, Beverly Hills, no longer the motels, beaches, Nightclubs, or action picture Studios, Disneyland, no no no ... Compton, Watts, South mandatory, North Hollywood, El Segundo, Whittier, Bell, long coastline and numerous different inner city places. discover out for your self.

This may be hard to believe, but the idea of having the City Council positions be "at large" was supposed to IMPROVE government. It was one of those "progressive" ideas which proved to be worse than whatever problem it was supposed to cure.

The moral of the story is: DON'T LISTEN TO PROGRESSIVES!
