Three Xbox 360 Games: Bioshock, Mass Effect, Far Cry 2. MOST DETAILED WINS IT!?
I have questions for each game, whoever answers the most questions fully gets best answer. ok, here goes:
Bioshock: I know it is supposedly an amazing game, but is it too linear? as in does it give you freedom in the game or are you coaxed along through the game by it. Basically, does the game hold your hand all the way through, or do you have freedom?
Mass Effect: Hearing it is a great RPG, but does it get boring with all the talking and lack of action/shooting, or is there a good balance between the two?
Far Cry 2: Hearing it is repetitive, did you like the game overall? Is it repetitive as in Assassins Creed Repetitive (every mission: climb a tower, kill this guy, report back to base)??
Which game of the 3 are best? Thanks for the help

Bioshock: I feel that Bioshock is a mostly linear, but you still get to make choices throughout, like saving or killing little sisters, and which plasmids you want to buy. Other than that you are just following the story, and yes it does hold your hand a lot.
Mass Effect: When I played Mass Effect, I did not grow bored, but I enjoy following the story. There is a lot of talking, but I feel that there is a good balance between fighting and talking, because on my first playthrough i was able to get the achievements for the 150 kills with each weapon type. There is a lot of talking, but it is broken up with fun combat.
Far Cry 2: I enjoyed Far Cry 2, but yes, it does get repetitive, mostly if you are doing radio tower missions or unlocking weapons. If you focus on the story (which I didn't, i obsess with completing as much as possible, then you shouldn't get bored, but if you want to do everything you could get sick of it and have to walk away for a while (I did).
I would say that Mass Effect is my favorite because it has a long, engaging story where you have choices in what you do, and the fighting stays fun throughout, and it has replay value because of the effects of your choices, not like Bioshock or Far Cry 2, which are pretty linear.

Bioshock: It is linear in the sense that you have missions that must be completed to move on. It does NOT hold your hand though. It is very challenging and at times frustrating. There is plenty to do and is a very fun play.
Mass Effect: This is a game with a great storytelling and okay game play. If you get bored with massive stories than the gameplay is not going to keep you interested in this one.
Far Cry 2: It is repetitive in the same way most shooters become. No it is not as bad as Assassins Creed though. There are things that change it up like vehicles and such. The multiplayer is where I spent most of my time.
Out of the three I would go with Bioshock hands down.

Bioshock: It is an amazing compromise from both. It gives you enough direction but lets you get there however you choose.
Mass Effect: There is an excess of talking and cut-scenes but I personally think its worth it with the great gameplay and story-line.
FarCry2: It is fairly repetitive but there are a fair amount of weapons and there is multiplayer so i say its a great game. The pro's out weigh the con's.
Hope this helps =D

I have bioshock and its a really fun game and you are given the freedom.
Mass Effect I have never played or heard of so I would rent that 1st....
Far Cry 2 is amazing and its nothing like Assasins Creed's repeditiveness

to tell you the truth i think they all suck and you should really go with FALLOUT 3, adventure rpg, shooter, lotts of fun and the game does take awhile to do and keeps you very occupied
but out of the 3 of them, i would have to say mass efect- my friend told me to get it one day lol
