ok so im going back out with this guy
we dated for about 7 months then we broke up and now we are going back out we were broke up for almost a year so my question is do we start over or do we pick up where we left off like do we work our way up to making out and stuff or should we just jump right in

This really depends from couple to couple. In one of my buddy's case, they picked up form where they left off and after the next year they broke up again, got back together again and broken up for good now.
As for "starting over" there is no such thing since that history between the two of you cant be forgotten, afterll it is in your heads.
