How much has your 3-mo-old eaten at any one time?
Of course my darling girl has feasted during growth spurts, but recently 6 ounces at once is not enough. Can their little tummies handle it? Obviously she may spit up on occasion, but not always.
At present, she's eating every three hours, almost to the minute! Of the four answers received so far, thanks. All very good.

My guy takes between 3-5oz each feed. He eats about every 2-4 hours (depends on the day). Except between the hours of 9:30pm-7:30am when he sleeps so he doesn't eat during the night at all. He's a big boy- 16lbs already.

Also seems like lately 6 oz isn't enough for my 3 month boy either. So I added in a little more water, like 6 1/2 and he seems to be good with that. He has always spit up a little, but not every feeding. He eats between 3-4 hours, normally.

My baby went through a phase at about 3 mos where she was eating 8 oz bottles ever four hours, then tapered down to 6 oz every 3 hours. They eat more during growth spurts.

I'm not sure of the exact amount but he FEASTED back then. I was a 34G+ and that boy went to town! LOL... must of been close to 6+ ounces a meal for a while there. He was born at 8lb9oz and doubled his weight (17lb2oz) by his 3 month appt!
