Do you get frustrated when another meaningless answer gets the best answer while yours is better ?

ugh it bothers me so much when i spend time researching an answer for someone, putting thought into it, giving helpful advice, and providing many links just to help the person out and they go with whoever agreed with them or something silly like avatar preference or a compliment. *sigh* i even lost best answer to someone that just said "yahh" and nothing else when i spent at least a couple of minutes coming up with sources and helpful hints.

it's not the points, it's that i feel like the person asking the question doesn't even care about the answer and so i've wasted my time.

it's a little unsettling for a moment or two, but since I don't have any control over it any more, I won't get frustrated over it. I'd start looking for another good question to answer. but, i would get upset a little more when someone won't pick a best answer for a long time. like one that I answered 4 months ago, and it has been put on voting and is undecided till now. the question was : http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ar01H...

not really some people are looking for a stupid answer, better to get a quality best answer than a dumb one
