Didn't Peter Beardsley spend some time at Manchester United - but was released on a free and we went onto sign him eventualy in the 80s ?
1982-1983 - He was a Manchester United player. Not the best of times there though, 0 Apps 0 goals XD
He could have aided in United winning a title or two in the 80s. Oh yeah they didn't win no titles in the 80s decade though.
But Beardsley and Aldridge was the partner ship which kind of replaced the formidable Rush and Dalgish p'ship.

i'm a guy united fan and can truthfully say i think of of owen is super - a in severe-high quality situation Owen will consistently get targets and because he joined guy united he has certainly been injured for a speedy era after the league cup very very final, i think of of if owen had carried out as many minutes as hernandez he would have in ordinary terms as many targets, i think of of he will bypass in this summer time to someplace like sunderland or aston villa, he keeps to be good sufficient for england he's in ordinary terms 31.
