Marilyn Monroe's death has often been called a suicide, sometimes an accidental overdose. Elvis was probably not an out and out suicide, but he was just extremely obese, probably had a heart condition and hooked on drugs. Judy Garland is another one who took an apparent overdose of sleeping pills because she would wake up and take more because she forgot what she had already taken or something. It is hard to tell with people addicted to drugs or alcohol, they don't always remember what they have taken or drank. And in a depressed state while under the influence of some drugs might think about suicide, when if they were sober they would not.

It is too soon to tell with Michael Jackson. They don't yet know if he was on that surgical sedative they found in his house, and if he was who got it for him.

He could have been suicidal, but in the video clips of him in rehearsal, he seems OK. But that is hard to tell from a few minutes of video. Certainly a lot of rock stars and other entertainers have performed under the influence of drugs, so the fact he did not seem stoned on the tape does not mean he wasn't.

Marilyn definitely wanted to commit suicide. Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson had so much, yet the money did not buy happiness and they had much easier access to drugs thru doctors. They were powerful drugs that I guess "made them feel good" and must have relieved some of the unhappiness (temporarily). I think these two felt if a little did the trick a lot would make it even better. Sad, but true.

You know, you have a good point there!

You could be right, Marilyn did commit suicide, Elvis and MJ had to be aware of what they were doing by taking all these drugs, all Elvis had to do was look in the mirror. And those around him enabled him by getting more and more drugs..same as Michael. His family or friends should have stepped up long ago.

So, the 2 men I believe could have subconsciously wanted to die.

While all three were drug related Marilyns death seems more deliberate than the other two. Michael and Elvis were simply hooked on pain killers, if im right they said they found empty pill bottles all around Marylin Monroe where she had deliberately overdosed.

  • MJ had been through so much throughout his life. I think he could take it anymore. The abuse he took from his father during his childhood and the insecurities that came along with that. The ruthless media, lawsuits and allegations, and the debt that he was in. You can only take so much. Its just sad because he is gone much too soon.

They all had strong self-destructive tendencies and did not value themselves, why else would they engage in the behaviors they did...so in that manner I guess yes they could have wanted to die.

There really are no coincidence in these 3 deaths.

NO, think ,that they had so much fame and fortune that they exhausted themselves to the point of weakness and depression and that's what did it.
