Twilight Jacob and Bella question?

They are just friends, though Jacob wants to be more than friends.

At first they were friends, then Jacob started to fall for Bella while Bella herself loved Jacob as a brother. Their relationship is complicated until the last book. Jacob then just becomes a friend to Bella.

Jacob and Bella's relationship is a tad more than just friends...... Even though Bella chose to be with Edward.. she was still madly in love with Jacob and not madly in love with him at the same time. When edward left Bella for her protection, She spent a lot of time with Jacob

They laughed together, kissed once or twice. Had a good time, rode motercycles and went cliff diving. They were in love but Bella loved somebody else just a tad more. That special someone was Edward.

That's were Jacob comes in, he is like her personal "sun" she is always happy with him, she soon finds out he is a werewolf and is perfectly fine with that. She realizes that he is falling in love with her to, she tries to love him and does, just not in the way he loves her, he loves her and she loves him but just as a brother. Everything drawing them together seems so weird if he doesn't imprint on her, (that's like love at first sight) then everything is so clear, they were meant to be together but only as friends, they learn this when Edward and Bella have a child together, (Renesmee Carlie Cullen) and Jacob imprints on her (It's nothing romantic until they make it, when she needs a shoulder to cry on, he's there, when she needs a brother or a friend, he's right there) She is outraged at first when they tell her but now they can be together without Jacob's infatuation on her. You seriously need to read the books. Bella will always love Edward, but Jacob will always have a place in her heart.Between Edward and Jacob there is no choice, Edward is her love.

Jacob and Bella are like brother and sister, but not related. If a friend told you the relationship is like this, then it means she is either jacob or you are jacob. It basically means that one is in love, but the other just loves you like a brother.

REAL ANSWER: In the beginning... Bella and Jacob grew up together when she would spend a few weeks out of the summer with her Father. So yes they did grow up together. Bella and Edward were very in love! Edward left Bella because he thought it would protect her. He managed to delete his self from her life to where it seems he never existed...all she had was memories. For over 6 months!!! Bella started hanging out with Jacob. Jacob fell in love with Bella. Bella did see Jacob as a brother at this time... It took Edward coming back and a lot of "trying to win her over" between Jacob and Edward.. BELLA WAS IN LOVE WITH JACOB!!! AND SHE WAS IN LOVE WITH EDWARD. She was torn between the two, BUT she CHOSE Edward!

However, in the end it ALL worked out. Bella and Edward ending up having a daughter "Reneesme" and Jacob imprinted on her. So he made a comment to Bella stating that "NOW I CAN LOVE/SEE YOU THE WAY I AM SUPPOSED TO". This is the only reason they compare it to Brother & Sister Love. BUT they were *In love* at one point. She just chose Edward instead.

Jake and Bell are childhood friends. Jake is two years younger then Bella. When Edward leaves, Bella and Jake become more than friends, but not really dating. Well, actually they are, but Bella denies it... sort of. The relationship is complicated once Edward comes back.

What I think ur firend means is mainly the friend to more then friend transition. :)
