Heard a rumor, is Toyota pulling out of NASCAR in 2010?
I just heard a rumor that Toyota is pulling out of nascar next year. Is this true? I won't be disappointed if they do.
onesneaker.com, what does your answer have to do with my question?

I think what you might have heard is that Toyota is pulling the financial support from the Nationwide series and the Truck series in NASCAR. Toyota is suffereing also from slow car sales. They just built a Toyota car manufacturing plant in Blue Springs Mississippi near Tupelo and announced that they will delay making cars there until the economy improves.

They aren't leaving, and stop trying to start rumors.. Toyota Racing has already put out a press release to that effect.. It would however be really great if NASCAR didn't give advantages to manufacturers that are just starting in NASCAR, they didn't need it.. the American manufacturers have been loyal to this sport for sixty years, and have done much to promote NASCAR (NASCAR has also done much to promote the Americans too).. NASCAR had no right to make it look as though Toyota could catch up to the American car builders in just a few short years, by allowing them a more advanced engine design.. If they wanted to play, they should have had to play by the same rules.. And to the young lady who thinks her answer is cute.. Many race drivers have died because of that problem, the most notable being Adam Petty, grandson of NASCAR great Richard Petty.. It would be good to stop, and think how much hurt that kind of comment could generate.. I'm only saying this because I'm sure you meant no harm.. Edit: Hey Mark.. NASCAR allowed Toyota to use engine design criteria that was not going to be approved for the other manufacturers for another two years.. These engines have greater distance between cylinders, permitting more efficient cooling.. This helps make more horses.. NASCAR's excuse for doing this was they planned the engine upgrade for the others, and wanted to save Toyota the trouble, and expense of developing two engines.. It makes the Toyota drivers look like geniuses.. If you were a race fan, you would understand that cars running Ford engines, and Dodge engines have been struggling with the new design.. Toyota has already made huge strides in it's development.. The others are two years behind..

Nope, Toyota is a well operated company unlike General Moters. Toyota will add more cars if anything next year.

Those Nike spammers have been in every question. No sense reporting them because they just create a new account. As for your question...no,...they are not pulling out.
