Repost: Differing consistency among baby formulas?

We've been using Similac Advance and switched to Enfamil b/c of slight variation in vitamin make-up. The Enfamil appears more watery. Both were carefully made to direction. Is this the case?

Update:

Amendment: I'm finding the Enfamil to be less thick, not more.

No, some formulas are just thicker than others. Some even produce more bubbles than others. It's not the way you're making it, don't worry.

EDIT: I agree, Enfamil always seemed more watery than Similac. Similac is actually the formula that the hospital used when i had my daughter.

Only one of my daughters used formula at 10 months old. We used Enfamil, I didn't like thick and clumpy formula. After all breastmilk is thin and watery as well. My sister used Good Start on her kids. It was thicker, clumpier and they spit up a lot with it.
