I do not think he sucks... he is simply using the technology in place to either improve his chances with a reversal, or to ease his mind with the best evidence the system can generate.

    No.

He used this technology to win 2 vital points.

Two times Roddick was sure the ball had gone out and on TV they looked like it (only replayed once I noticed).

Federer proved to me (during the match) that Hawk-eye was vulnerable on the line the farthest away from the umpire. Knowing that this was a spot that the Umpire would not feel confident in over-ruling.

It's actually not making the best use of the challenge system to challenge only those calls you're confident will be overturned. Since you have the challenges you might as well make full use of them on the off chance of something you didn't expect getting overturned. You think he's stupid but I think he's smart and makes better use of the system than any other player.

Federers ego is so big that is why he sucks at challenges. No matter how many grand slams he wins it means nothing because he has not played anyone with a fundamental match strategy.

Source(s): played pro and taught. Injury ended all.

Well yes and no. I think it's good that he challenges often because he does get a few extra points. Though, he's usually wrong.

Oh.. totally! He can't get a single challenge to go his way. I don't think he likes the whole technology thing; he's a little old school that way.

    Yeah,

I think he wants to prove the HawkEye wrong somehow.
