Unfortunately this will only ever be a hypothetical question. Large drug co's wont ever let this happen for there will always be other diseases or illnesses that will arrive and they require drugs that cost $ and the cycle will repeat.

remove the urge for $ then there maybe a chance

until then, name your illness and insert $ into the machine and press the button

The truthful answer to this question is that it would not happen. Like humans and every other species around the planet, viruses will just continue to advance and mutate to complete the task that they were genetically designed to do. When we create vaccines and cures for diseases and viruses, they simply mutate and adapt to ensure their survival. The same goes for human genetic problems, we may be able to find cures for current disorders, but as we change and evolve, we will simply develop new ones.

As further research is put into health, both physical and psychological, human longevity will continue to rise, but only to a certain point. It is genetically programmed from birth when we will die and is unique to every individual (providing no accidents, and setting religious views aside), and that cannot be changed.

The closest we will ever come to humans living for much longer than we are designed to, will be when we can manipulate genetics with 100% accuracy. IF, and only if, we can accomplish this, there may be a way to prevent aging and disease, but that's another topic.

If this situation was to occur, health care would of course still be around, maybe not in such a force as it is now, but without illness or disease, that is simply more people able to experience the day to day accidents, mishaps, and violent crimes of society for which they will need care.

Seeing as aging and the effects on muscle and bones from aging is not considered a disease, retirement age would likely only fluctuate slightly as they would not have contributing factors, but we still wear our bodies down over the course of our life and of course the wear is unique to the individual

Although I do not know much about economics, it seems like it could go either way. Either the added work force would contribute a great deal to society, or the overcrowding would create large amounts of unemployment which as we know can have a serious effect on economy.

A good question, and I hope this provides some insight.

this is indeed a hypothetical question...your answer depends on wether you are a pessimist or an optimist. If you're a pessimist you would say that if all human illneesses were cured, more people would live longer and retire later, leading to population explotion, which would lead to depletion of resources (due to the increase in people who would need different resources from the government), leading to the collapse of the economy and the rise of crimes. If you're an optimist you would say that if all human illnesses were cured, more people would live longer and would lead to the birth of more genuises who could come up with more innovative and impressive designs and inventions that would make this world a better place to live in....so the answer to the question depends more on wether your a pessimist or an optimist

Without the whole hum any self-distruction complex reguarded, the human population would spring and cause global destruction. The question is a little shakey, if there were no more disease, the privyy would follow. If there were a cure to every diseaseregardlessss, some parts of the world would be too poor to do anything about it.

there are distinctive sides to this question. First, a number of the will boost in ailment are honestly simply by greater desirable detection procedures. permit's use breast maximum cancers as an occasion: 35 years in the past there have been no mammograms or sonograms. women folk who felt a lump have been terrified to head to the well-being care provider and so did no longer. The observe "maximum cancers" became under no circumstances, ever spoken and a few situations became no longer even entered on a death certificates because of the fact the ignorant believed it became contagious and the kin did no longer choose to be remoted. Older women folk with slower becoming cancers weren't in any respect clinically determined and died from different motives. (i'm speaking individually of my grandmother right here). So, together as there may well be a upward push in reported situations, no longer all of that boost is using greater women folk honestly having the ailment. Then there is bronchial asthma--which was once clinically determined as a "croupy baby", or "susceptible lungs, gets pneumonia lots". Now, any wheeze is clinically determined as bronchospasm/reactive airway ailment which then turns into labeled as bronchial asthma. back, there in all probability are greater infants with bronchial asthma yet no longer as many because of the fact the archives could have us believe. So earlier we decide on how badly scientific technology is dropping, we want the thank you to make certain the size of the enemy forces! on the different area, you so have it precise inclusive of your expenses from Dr. Carrol and Edison! lots of the ailment we do be afflicted by is brought about by way of malnutrition in the midst of lots, and the poisoning of our ecosystem. Preventive drugs is somewhat practiced in recent times--the well-being care expert won't be able to instruct it worked (or get wealthy off it), and the affected person won't take the duty. in short, between undesirable archives and absence of duty we are in massive difficulty.

People who study extremely hard to be a doctor end up not making big money. Then the economy gets worse.

  • well, all diseases and human illnesses will then mutate. it's why we can't cure the common cold.

  • A new one will pop up
