There are also other cool rodents, such as guinea pigs, gerbils, rats. Rats are actually amazing animals! they are extremely clean, smart, funny, and they are great pets despite what the rumors say.

Guinea pigs are cool, too. They are a slightly larger rodent, and are sweet. The do make little noises, but they are cool. Guinea pigs are one of my favorite rodents.

Gerbils are very hyper, and they are the ones with the tail that look like a kangaroo, rabbit, and hamster mixed with a rat tail. They are very funny. You will need a high-walled cage for them because they can jump pretty high.

Birds are also something I would check into. Since you are a beginner, you should get a budgerigar (budgie, parakeet) or a cockatiel. Those are the two best beginner birds. They are pretty cheap, but are so cool! Cockatiels can whistle and talk, but budgies are amazingly funny.

Lizards are an option, too :) But most people don't like them. Bearded dragons and the small snakes are coool, they will need a heat source and insects (sometimes pinky mice) to eat. Geckos, frogs, toads, and turtles/tortoise, and all of them are pretty cool.

Rabbits, they are good pet but the only problem is that they poop a lot.

Hamsters, hamsters are really good pets but if u don't have a lot or car for them they get really stinky.

Snakes, they are really cool to have I would prefer a Gardner snake.

Birds, birds are cool but if you get one u will be up early every morning

Tarantula, these are super cool!! They eat flys in your house. It is fun holding them to.

get a reptile. they are very placid animals and are able to be left alone all day.

i recommend a bearded dragon. Who are very gentle with kids

get a rat :) they bond with ppl , low mantnense eat a wide varity of stuff, very intelegent, small, cheap, and suuuuper cute

Get a mouse. They are small & easy 2 take care of. If us use newspaper kitty litter in their cage it doesn't smell as bad.
