My ipod touch will not connect to the internet.?
When I try to connect it says Cannot open page safari cannot open the page because it is not connected to the internet. When I go to settings and wifi it says its connected to my network. What is wrong?
I checked my network and it works fine. Everything is connected. Could it be my ipod? Even though it says its connected? I'm at a loss.

Press on the arrow that is right after your wifi. If the IP address starts with 169.xxx.x.x, then you can't connect and something is wrong with your router. Reset your iPod and try it. If it doesn't work after reset, then it is your router.

you need to make sure you have security settings set properly on your router. Did you set it up or your parents?
try logging into the router and removing all security then trying again.
double check that card access is not turned on.. (in the router) if it is, you need to add your ipods MAC address list to the allowed devices.
