How come Elvis could be buried in Graceland, but Michael Jackson could not be buried in Neverland?

Each county/city has its own laws and statutes when it comes to human burial on private property. In this case, the city would have to grant a variance which takes time and money...lots of each.

The reason he might not be buried at Neverland ranch is because of all he debts he was 400 million dollars in debt so because he sold Neverland several years ago, The Bank now owns Neverland Ranch so the bank has to allow the Jackson family bury him there.But all of the Jackson family think because he was the King of Pop he should be buriede at his old estate like Elvis. They havent made a decision yet so watch the news to find out. But meanwhile he will be kept at forrest hills.

Someone said that in California you have to be buried in a Cemetery but who knows. I would like to see him buried at Neverland but his family will take care of his remands and Michael will be at peace wherever they chose.

It went into forclosure and needed to be sold-off at auction.

Since he never wanted to go back alive, I really don't think he would want to be burried there.

I think it's because of the financial state of Neverland, and the neighboors don't want tourists to sworm the place.

It's not that simple. It takes a lot of work and time. Also, the neighborhood fears it would become really loud and crowded of a town.. [tourists]
