    What up 1verson,

i think i'd have to go with Kobe.

Over the past several seasons the Spurs have seen injuries to all of their big 3: Duncan, Ginoboli, and Parker. Adding Jefferson was very helpful - but the acquistion of Artest i think is a bigger acquisition than the addition of Jefferson. Additionally the Spurs lost Bruce Bowen who has always been a key player in trying to shut down Kobe.

In the East- while Shaq makes the Cavs a better team-- they still have to get through the Celtics and i think Cleveland needed to pick up a mobile power forward to guard Rashard Lewis (although i think losing Turkogolu really hurts the Orlando Magic).

i see the Lakers as the favorites in the West and i'm not so sure that the Cavs will even make it out of the East. It'll be tough though for all of these guys.

    Kobe or Shaq

Kobe because he has a great team and proved this past season that he can still win the Finals. Look at the guys around him: Fisher can shoot clutch shots and the three ball, Andrew Bynum i think will blossom this year, Lamar Odom is one of the only big men who can shoot the three and jump hooks too, Luke Walton can pass and now they got artest who can play G/F and can shoot. and they got Phil back as the HC so i think they'll be good.

Or Shaq because first of all LeBron. He can pass 8 apg, while scoring 30 ppg. Look how far the cavs went last year and they had only 1 center. Now they have 2 centers and Shaq still has some fuel in the tank. Last season he score 18 ppg and 60% from the field. Pretty good numbers considering he weighs like 350 lbs and is 37. The cavs are a great team.

I don't think Duncan will win because lets face it, the Spurs are not going to get any better. Their prime is done and will have to wait for a new wave of players to bring them another championship. i still think Duncan is a great player but i think he and the spurs are done.

Btw you forgot about Fisher getting 5 yoo

Either way Kobe or Shaq will be the first to 5.

    NBA Finals= LAL vs CLE.

My vote has Kobe Bryant getting number 5 first.

I dont even think Shaq will ever get number 5. Duncan mite, but the Spurs are in no condition to do so and I really see Duncan remaining a Spur for the rest of his career.

Lakers havent altered thier team too much from last season. Phil Jacksn reutrning, odom most likely returning, kobe returning.

So I have Bryant as getting number 5 first

  • If Cavs don't win a championship this year, than Kobe. Shaq has 1-4 years left in the league and Duncan needs a better and younger team.

  • Tim Duncan, Timmy now has the supporting cast to do it even in his age, The Spurs bench is probably the best it has been in years... Jefferson and Dejuan will also take some pressure of Duncan in the post, losing Ariza and (hopfully) Odom is a big blow to the Lakers Kobe dosent have the same team one Artest aint the same as a Odom and Ariza.

Clevland wont even get out of the ES Howard and K.G. could walk right past Shaq hes to old.

Shaq and Kobe are good but they don't have that good of a supporting cast. Shaq only has LJ23 and Kobe only has Pau and Derek

    Tim Duncan has:

Manu Ginobli, A good 3 point shooter and defender

Tony Parker, a good stealer, a good shooter and very fast

Roger Mason, a good shooter and awesome 3 point shooter

Matt Bonner,a good 3 point shooter and good at free throws

Michael Finlay, good shooting and can makes clutch 3's

    etc.

Kobe, Artest's defense and passion mixed with Kobe changes the whole passion of the team

  • Kobe, younger and in his prime while Duncan and Shaq are on the backed of the their career's. Also because he has the best team out of all of them.

Shaq because he only needs one more. I mean winning a title with Lebron while your an all star to shouldnt be the the hardest thing tKobe might reach 5 with Artest on his team but not before Shaq

Young Phillhy Boi swishes another three.
